My Bedroom Window

This summer has been unbearable with all of the triple digit temperatures and lack of water.  Gardening was not for the faint of heart this season. I found myself inside looking out at my gardens during most of the day.  Which made me analyze the window views of my gardens.

Most of the views were pretty good…except… my bedroom. The next few pictures will walk you through what I did to improve that situation.  It is not exactly what I was hoping for, but all of the house utilities are on the north side of the house next to our bedroom.  I was limited with the amount of digging I could do.  So…I improvised!

Pretty pitiful when it comes to beauty. The tarp was covering a pile of wood. Notice the old urn next to the fence gate.

A bit better…new fence…wood stacked.

Old urn about to get a facelift. 😉

Classy!

Like new! Cost = $3.89 and some of my labor.

The north side in my yard means a great spot for…Endless Summer Hydrangeas!

A perfect marriage! Simple and Elegant.

The after view is much better to wake up to than the before. I will enjoy watching the hydrangeas grow to about 3’x3′ in these urns. Eventually, my window view will be…Hydrangeas!
