Educating, Inspiring, and Encouraging

We all need it.

Without it we would find life to be boring and mundane.

We look for it in different places…magazines, T.V. programs, seminars, books, podcasts, conversations, and even social media.

To be inspired, encouraged, and educated takes effort on our part.  It is not just going to come knocking at your door.  You have to be an active participant.  Sometimes it happens unexpectedly, but rarely does it just happen without our willingness, openness, and activeness.

Educating, inspiring, and encouraging people in the world of gardening is one of the true joys in life.  To spread my enthusiasm for gardening to others is magical.  There are a variety of nature topics I love to share:  home landscaping, growing lavender, designing with color in mind, attracting pollinators and birds in to your yard, and many more.  The question is where do I go for education, inspiration, and encouragement?  Where can a garden enthusiast like myself find new ideas and new information?

I recently discovered a vlog (video blog) that I really enjoy.  It has actually been around since 2014, but it is a new discovery for me.  I am going to share it with you in hopes that you will find some garden tidbits that will spark your enthusiasm and spur you on to learning and doing more in your home landscape this coming year.

The vlog is called Garden Answer .

I will warn you…Laura is peppy and has lots of energy.  She is filled with enthusiasm!   She and her husband just welcomed in to their family their first born child a few days ago, so I am sure she will be taking a short break from vlogging.  This break will give you a chance to catch up on her past videos and soak up her knowledge and excitement about gardening.

If you are in need of a garden themed presentation, let me know.  You can see my list of topics here, or contact me directly about a specific topic you would like me to cover.

May 2018 be a year filled with Education, Inspiration, and Encouragement to you and your love of gardening!
